How long does it take?

Your proof usually arrives within 24 hours of ordering, and nothing is final until you approve it. The moment you do, both files unlock on that same page. There is no production or delivery wait on a Digital File order, because nothing is printed and nothing is posted.

What size file should I choose?

The size sets the shape and the resolution, so pick the size you intend to print. A file made for 18x24 is not the same crop as one made for 8x10, and choosing the larger size does not make the smaller one look better. The files are yours to print as often as you like.
