What makes a good photo?
A clear, well-lit shot facing the camera, showing the head and chest. Natural light beats flash. Not perfect? Upload it anyway and we’ll tell you if we need another. More examples in our photo guidelines.
Do I really get a free proof?
Yes. Every order includes a free digital proof with unlimited revisions, no extra fee. You approve it before anything is made, and if we do not hear from you within 72 hours we go ahead and make it as it is, so your order is never left waiting. A reply holds it for as long as you need.
How long does it take?
Your proof usually arrives within 24 hours of ordering, and nothing is final until you approve it. Your files are yours the moment you say yes, and we hold them for as long as that takes. The moment you do, both files unlock on that same page. There is no production or delivery wait on a Digital File order, because nothing is printed and nothing is posted.
What size file should I choose?
The size sets the shape and the resolution, so pick the size you intend to print. A file made for 18x24 is not the same crop as one made for 8x10, and choosing the larger size does not make the smaller one look better. The files are yours to print as often as you like.
