Yes, always, and it's free. Every order gets a digital proof by email before anything is printed. If it isn't right, tell us and we'll revise it, as many times as it takes. Nothing goes to print until you approve it.

Cats, dogs, and most things with a face. If you have something less usual, send us a photo first using the form below and we'll tell you honestly whether we can do it justice.

Each portrait is one pet. Many people order a set and hang them together. There's an example of exactly that on our how it works page. If you want two pets in a single frame, ask us before ordering.

Yes, at no extra cost. You choose the name, where it sits, the typeface and the colour while you're building your portrait. You can also leave it off entirely. Some styles look better clean.

Your proof usually arrives within 24 hours of ordering. Nothing is printed until you approve it.

Once you do, we make it and ship it, and you will get tracking by email the moment it leaves the facility. The clock on that second half only starts when you approve, so replying quickly to your proof is the fastest way to get it to you.

Wall art comes in three sizes, 8×10″, 12×16″ and 18×24″, available as an unframed fine art print, a framed print in black, white, wood or dark wood, or a Digital File you download and print locally. The size you pick is the size of the artwork; framed dimensions are slightly larger.

Apparel is unisex and runs S to 2XL: hoodies and crewneck sweatshirts in eight colours, garment-dyed t-shirts in nine, with your pet printed into the cotton or embroidered onto it.

Mugs are white glossy ceramic in 11 and 15 ounce, both dishwasher and microwave safe. Most carry the portrait around one side with your pet's name above it if you want one; the Day Jobs mug prints the costumed scene as a framed panel with the name underneath, and the Dog Mom and Dog Dad mugs print the name on its own and need no photo at all.

Every style can be ordered as a Digital File instead of a print. You upload a photo, approve a free digital proof, and add your pet's name if you want one, all exactly as you would with a print. Once you approve, your downloads unlock on the proof page: a print ready 300 dpi JPEG at the size you chose, plus the borderless high resolution artwork. Nothing ships and there is no shipping charge. There is more on how digital files work.

You can also add the files as well as a print, for $19, with one tick on the product page. Your portrait is made and sent as usual, and the same two downloads unlock on your proof page when you approve. They come from the very artwork we print rather than a second version of it, so the file matches the picture on your wall exactly. That is also why it costs less than buying the files on their own: the portrait is already being made.

The United States, the UK, Europe, Canada and Australia. Your order is made close to where it is going rather than shipped across the world, so most arrive within one to two weeks wherever you are. Apparel to Australia is the exception and usually takes around three weeks. Shipping is free on orders over $100 and a flat $9.90 below that, wherever you are. Digital Files and gift cards are delivered by email and involve no shipping at all. Full detail is in our shipping policy.

Yes. The gift card comes in amounts from $25 to $200, is delivered by email with a message and a send date you choose, and never expires. The recipient picks the photo, the style and the size themselves.

Yes, up until you approve your proof, just reply to the proof email or tell us below. Because each piece is made to order, once you've approved the proof it goes straight into production and can't be changed. See our refund policy.

You won't be stuck with it. Revisions before printing are free and unlimited. If something is wrong with what arrives, whether that's damage in transit or a piece that doesn't match the proof you approved, we'll remake it or refund you. Details in our refund policy.
